FAQ

How does a DesigNA necklace work?

You order a DesigNA collection kit and choose your metal and stone palette. The kit ships free in the UK and arrives in two to three working days. You take a 30 second cheek swab, sign the consent form, and post the sample back to us using the included prepaid envelope. The sample is analysed at a UKAS accredited UK laboratory, which reads a set of polymorphic genetic markers. The resulting sequence is mapped to your chosen stones and pearls, and your necklace is handcrafted by our partner jeweller in Birmingham. The finished piece is sent to you with a certificate of authenticity inside our signature packaging. Production and delivery take 7 to 14 working days from receipt of your sample at the lab.
