About Us
Learn about the origins of DesigNA and our goals for the future.
The Beginnings
DesigNA aims to reinvent the very meaning of personalised products. The idea was first conceived over 20 years ago by Neil Sullivan and Louise Allcroft, who dreamed of combining science and art. Now, in 2023, their son Oliver has founded DesigNA to bring this groundbreaking vision to life. Fresh out of university and bursting with ideas, he’s striving to expand into all aspects of the jewellery industry and redefine what it truly means to own something personal.

Gifting
Struggling to find a truly meaningful gift? DesigNA creates one-of-one necklaces where your unique genetic profile is represented through a bespoke pattern of pearls and semi-precious stones. Gift someone a piece that literally represents who you are at a genetic level, or offer our collection kit so they can create their own genetic jewellery.”

Personalisation
Engraved jewellery claims to be personal, but DesigNA takes personalisation to an entirely new level. We extract and analyse your DNA, then translate your unique genetic profile into a stunning pattern of pearls and semi-precious stones. No two pieces are ever alike—because no two genetic profiles are identical.

Legacy
Each necklace is more than jewellery—it’s a wearable representation of your genetic identity. Pass down a piece that captures the essence of yourself or a loved one, a visual legacy that celebrates what makes them unique at the most fundamental level.

What We Do
Here’s how it works: we provide a simple DNA collection kit, analyse your genetic profile in our laboratory, and translate key genetic markers into a unique pattern. This pattern is then brought to life through carefully selected pearls and semi-precious stones, arranged on a high-quality chain. The result? A beautiful, wearable piece of art that is scientifically and aesthetically yours alone.
