Everyday care
- Remove your necklace before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or cleaning.
- Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before putting it on, never after.
- Avoid contact with water, chemicals, and rough surfaces wherever possible.
- Put your necklace on last when dressing, and take it off first.
Sterling silver
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time as it reacts with air and moisture. This is normal and easily reversed. Gently buff your piece with a soft silver-polishing cloth to restore its shine. Avoid liquid silver dips, which can damage stones and pearls.
Freshwater pearl
Pearls are organic and the most delicate part of your piece, so they need the gentlest handling. Wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wearing, and let them dry fully before storing. Never soak pearls or use chemical cleaners, and keep them away from perfume and cosmetics.
Gold and gold-filled
Wipe your gold pieces with a soft, dry cloth to maintain their lustre. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh polishes. The gold-filled beads and extender are durable for everyday wear, but the same gentle handling keeps them looking their best.
Your semi-precious stones
Protect your stones from knocks and scratches, and keep them away from perfume, cleaning products, and prolonged contact with water. Clean them only with a soft, dry cloth. Stored and worn with care, they keep their colour and character for years.
Storage
Store your necklace flat or hanging, away from other jewellery to prevent scratching and tangling. A soft pouch or lined jewellery box is ideal. Keep it dry and out of direct sunlight.
