Is my DNA safe with DesigNA?
Yes. Your physical sample is destroyed once the laboratory analysis is complete. The resulting marker data is encrypted at rest and stored only for as long as needed to fulfil your order. After delivery, the data is deleted. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not read clinical, ancestry, or behavioural markers. All sample handling is governed by UK GDPR and the Human Tissue Act 2004. Analysis is performed at a UK laboratory under contract to our data protection standards. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
