Delivery and returns

Free UK tracked delivery on every order. Your finished piece arrives within about three weeks of ordering. You have a 14 day cooling off period, which ends once your sample reaches the laboratory and analysis begins. Every piece carries a 6 month warranty covering craftsmanship faults, and faulty items are always covered by your statutory rights.

Track your order: every stage from kit to finished piece, explained.

The certificate

Every piece arrives with a printed Certificate of Authenticity showing your DNA profile and your stone colour key, signed and dated. It is the proof that your piece could never exist twice.

Your DNA and privacy

Your swab is read for identity markers only, nothing clinical, nothing ancestral. The physical sample is destroyed once analysis is complete and your marker data is deleted after delivery. Handling is governed by UK GDPR and the Human Tissue Act 2004.

Anatomy of the piece

Every marker is a position in your code

Nothing on this strand is decorative. Each marker is a point the laboratory read in your DNA, and what sits between them is the space your sequence leaves. The numbered key matches the points marked on the photograph.

Spider Silver and Gold DNA Profile Bracelet photographed flat, with each part of the piece labelled.
  1. The fitA spider clasp: two fine chains run through a central slider, so it tightens to your wrist and holds.
  2. Gold marks the positionThere are no coloured stones here. The gold alone carries the pattern of your reading.
  3. The space betweenThe gap is distance. Markers sit in the order the laboratory measured them, from the smallest fragment to the largest, so the space between two stones is the run of your code between them.
  4. One markerOne position the laboratory read. They run from the smallest fragment to the largest, so the last gold marker on every piece is Penta D.
  • 1. Order and receive your kit

Arrives in 2 to 3 working days. A cheek swab, instructions, and a prepaid return envelope.

  • 2. Take your swab and post it back

Takes under a minute. Nothing to prepare.

  • 3. We make your piece

The laboratory reads your markers and a UK jeweller handcrafts your bracelet. 2 to 3 weeks from the day your sample arrives.

How it is made

Your DNA writes the design

Twenty eight seconds from cheek swab to finished strand, animated with the same formula that will place your own markers. Turn the sound on for the narration.

Silver and gold, and not a single coloured stone. The whole piece is a pattern of two metals, and the pattern happens to be a person.

The Spider Silver and Gold Bracelet strings 2mm polished 925 sterling silver spheres with 2mm gold filled spheres standing at your DNA positions. The spider clasp is an adjustable slider: two fine chains run through a central slider, so the bracelet tightens to your wrist and holds without a fastening.

A cheek swab still does the work. Our partner laboratory, which has over 25 years in genetic testing, reads twenty three markers using five fluorescent dyes, each marker carrying two values, one from each parent, which is how roughly thirty spheres come to sit on the strand. On this piece the gold marks the positions and the silver holds the spaces.

The quietest way to wear your own code, in two metals and no colour.

Questions, answered

How long does it take?

2 to 3 weeks from receipt of your sample at the lab. That covers laboratory analysis, design generation, handcraft by our partner jeweller in Birmingham, quality check, packaging, and UK delivery. Before that, the DNA collection kit reaches you in 2 to 3 working days after ordering, and the swab itself takes under a minute.

Is my DNA safe?

Yes. Your physical sample is destroyed once the laboratory analysis is complete. The resulting marker data is encrypted at rest and stored only for as long as needed to fulfil your order. After delivery, the data is deleted. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not read clinical, ancestry, or behavioural markers. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

Can I give this as a gift?

Yes. DesigNA pieces are among our most popular milestone gifts. Because the bracelet is generated from the recipient's DNA, the most common gifting flow is to give the collection kit itself as the visible gift and let the recipient take their own swab and post it back. The bracelet then follows as the second half of the gift. We can include a personal note inside the kit if you let us know at checkout.

What if I do not like the colours?

Every stone set piece uses our set palette of five stones, one for each dye the laboratory reads: Lapis Lazuli, Garnet, Citrine, Amethyst and Amazonite. Your DNA decides where each stone sits, so the pattern is uniquely yours before we make anything.

What exactly is in the box?

Your finished piece arrives in our signature packaging. A matte black outer box opens to your Certificate of Authenticity, then a navy sleeve, then the black jewellery box holding your piece. Your DNA collection kit arrives separately first, with a cheek swab, instructions, and a prepaid return envelope.
