More about this piece
Is the silver hallmarked?
Yes. The Sterling Silver DNA Profile Necklace uses 925 hallmarked sterling silver spheres throughout. Hallmarking is the UK's legal guarantee of metal purity.
What stones sit between the silver spheres?
Every marker appears as a coloured stone along your piece, in the exact order your DNA places them, with the metal spheres holding the spaces between. Each stone is 4mm. The five stones are our set palette: Lapis Lazuli for the blue dye, Garnet for red, Citrine for yellow, Amethyst for purple and Amazonite for green. The arrangement is dictated entirely by your DNA, not designed for visual balance.
How do I care for sterling silver?
Sterling silver tarnishes naturally over time with exposure to air, perfume and skincare. To slow it down: apply perfume and lotion before wearing, wipe with a soft cloth after wear, and store inside the supplied jewellery box. If tarnish does appear, a silver polishing cloth restores the shine in seconds. Genuine 925 silver is repolishable for life.
